Sponsorship and Contribution Opportunities

“If you’re thinking about being a sponsor or being involved in Governor’s Cup, it’s something you really should do. It’s really good publicity for the state. It can really help the startup community and economic growth of the state – whether that’s helping out with the startups or just putting money back into the state. It really can help grow our economy overall.”

The 2017 Governor’s Cup Awards Luncheon is Tuesday, April 11, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Wally Allen Ballroom, Statehouse Convention Center, Little Rock.

The Donald W. Reynolds Governor’s Cup has impacted 2,300 college and university students over the past 17 years.
Contributions and sponsorships for the Governor’s Cup ensure student teams from any college or university in Arkansas can compete without an entry fee. Funding also helps defray costs for semi-finalist and finalist team members who will travel to Little Rock March 30 and 31, 2017, for Oral Presentations.

Sponsorships also make the April 11 Awards Luncheon an exciting and memorable Arkansas tradition celebrating our state’s rich entrepreneurial history. The luncheon proves that the resources and talent to succeed in business are right here at home and shows the competitors that their ideas and hard work are highly valued by hundreds from our state’s business and education communities.

One of the reasons I’m such a big supporter of the Governor’s Cup competition is it gets young people excited about being entrepreneurs and helps them realize that they can do this. . . it is a very good investment in young people in Arkansas, and in the state of Arkansas in general, and in Arkansas’s future.
